I didn't realise when I first showed them to Asia-Faith that they were squeaky shoes! And then she stood up and walked in them.....it was too late to take them away from her - she loves them...fortunately the sales lady saw the look of horror on my face, and so she showed me that the "squeak" is removable! (Thank goodnes!) LOL

That so sounds like something that would happen to me.
So glad the lady had mercy on you :) and showed you how to take the aqueaky out...
or you could leave it in and always know where she is....
